Cherry Bourbon

Cherries add a great depth of flavour to a warming liquor like Bourbon. This cocktail is no exception. I like to use amareno cherries in syrup but fresh cherries work well if in season.


  • 2 oz Slurp Tart Cherry mix
  • 2 oz Bourbon
  • 1-2 cherries, amareno in syrup or fresh and pitted
  • Lemon slice for garnish, optional


  1. Muddle together the cherries, mix and bourbon.
  2. Strain into a lowball glass with ice.
  3. Garnish with a lemon slice, if desired.
